Getting Into Business

The printed products business can be a be a profitable and fun business, or just something that you would like to share with your friends, family and associates. It is quite simple to get started, from the aspect of what is need in terms of equipment, here is a list:

1. Heat Press.

There are many choices which can be found here on our site. All machines do a very good job at applying a design to the substrate, be it a garment, a mouse pad, tote bag, etc. We recommend that you purchase the one that fits your budget and future needs. A manual heat press is excellent for smaller production runs. If your plans are to be printing more than about 100 shirts per day you will probably want a semi-automatic heat press to reduce the labor effort. A fully automatic machine is usually purchased by those who will be printing large quantities on a full time daily basis. All of the equipment that we offer is warranted as stated on our website.

2. Blank garments or other items that can be printed using a heat press.

We suggest staying with the basics when starting out, T shirts, sweatshirts, and ladies fashion tops are the most popular.

3. Stock Transfer designs.

We offer 1000's of transfer designs in many categories. Choose those that you feel will be popular and of interest in your area.

4. Transfer Paper

Custom printing is extremely popular. Whether you have an inkjet or laser printer we have transfer papers that will provide you with the ability to print any design that is created on your computer. Paper is available for printing on both light color and dark color garments.

5. Accessory items

There are several accessories that are available, but not essential to basic printing. It's similar to power windows in a car....you could raise and lower the windows with a crank but it makes it easier if you can push a button.

We definitely recommend that you look at the Marketing ideas in the Customer Service Section of our website. It has a substantial amount of useful information.

We are here to help you. Please contact us here if you have any questions or information that is needed to get you going in the "T-Shirt Business".
