Image Clip Laser Paper Lights 8 X 10.5

Please Note: This product is designed to work with most images.

Image Clip Laser paper for light garments works great for full color designs. It can be applied to T-shirts, handbags, mouse pads, coasters, leather articles, art papers etc. Image Clip Laser paper for lights works well with cotton materials along with 50/50 blends and polyester as long as the fabric has a tight weave. When using Image Clip Laser paper for lights there is no need to trim the excess paper as this product is self-weeding. There will be no background to your printed design.
This paper is a two-step process. More product details…

    General Use

Works great for full color designs. It can be applied to T-shirts, handbags, mouse pads, coasters, leather articles, art papers etc. ImageClip Laser paper for lights works well with cotton materials along with 50/50 blends and polyester as long as the fabric has a tight weave. Application Instructions - A Two Step Process

    Printing

    1. Mirror the image.
    2. Use the HEAVY paper setting to ensure fusing of the toners.
    3. Load the red back printed imaging sheet so that the image will appear on the coated side of the paper.
    4. Paper should feed into the copier or printer with the short dimension first (grain long).

    Transferring

    1. Press the imaged sheet (red printed back) to the transfer sheet (green printed). This will apply the transfer coating to the imaged area.
    2. PRESS - 20 seconds at 210 F using light pressure.
    3. Separate the papers while still hot.
    4. A cloudy film will appear on your printed sheet.
    5. Press the treated imaging sheet (red print) face down onto the shirt or other substrates.
    6. PRESS - 30 seconds at 375 F using heavy pressure.
    7. COOL before peeling. Stretch immediately after peeling if desired.

Works well but... Review by Michael S

I purchased three different color laser transfer papers from Proworld to see which worked the best. Of the three, this one came in a close second behind the CL Trimfree for Lights. (I have printed only single color [black] designs on t-shirts and sweatpants so I cannot comment on the quality of a color design as of yet.)

The directions (especially the video) are easy to follow. The final printed product on the shirt was very smooth and felt very much a part of the shirt. I would say this had a better final product than the CL Trimfree.

For me the biggest knock on the Image Clip Laser Paper was the two step press process at different temperatures. This two step process is what I believe gives the Image Clip Laser Paper its fine high quality final product. This may not be a huge deal for some. If you have multiple presses and are willing to double the time it takes to press an image then this may be the paper for you.

One other reason the Image Clip Laser Paper came in second for me was the price. It is quite a bit more than other trimfree papers and I think it is due to the two step pressing process which requires the two papers they provide for a single design.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It is definitely worth the extra effort to get the fine natural feel of the image pressed on your shirt/product. (Posted on 5/10/17)
