The press also opens automatically allowing quick hands free operation. The HIX auto release press is the most reliable Auto-Opening heat transfer machine on the market. Requiring no air feed, this Semi-Automatic press utilizes an electronic release mechanism with a gas shock assist to guarantee opening at the end of the print cycle. Hands free opening saves time and effort allowing the operator to apply more transfers in a shift with less effort than a traditional heat transfer press. HIX Touch-screen Controller: Switching between jobs is now as simple as pushing pre-select keys on a car radio. Simply pre-program each of 4 possible selection with different combinations of time and temperature to simply toggle between the selections.
Another example would be the 2-step selection whereby, within the same job, the machine can be set to handle two alternating cycle times (e.g. one for a pre-press, followed by one for a final press).
